19th June 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 24-28 knots Surf / Sea State: 1-2 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 14ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2nd session of the day after watching Morgan at his school sports day. Wind was stronger this time, but the waves smaller. High tide so not too far to carry my kit either and had a great time well powered up with a 5m on my Naish Hybrid Freewave. I just love that board, it is so twitchy. Wind was a little too onshore for good jumping conditions, but ther was of course the odd ramp here and there. The waves weren't great for riding either but the conditions were just perfect for blasting around and having fun. So much more fun with slightly smaller kit. |
